PLOS ONE 10 Year Anniversary Collection: New Species

Curated Collections

For 10 years PLOS ONE has been a venue for announcing exciting discoveries of new species. At a time when habitats are disappearing and ecosystems are rapidly changing, it is important to catalogue and describe new species for future conservation. The New Species collection assembled by Associate Editor Anna Simonin highlights some of the articles describing new species PLOS ONE has published since its inception.
