PLOS Computational Biology: 10th Anniversary
Ten years ago, on June 24th 2005, the inaugural issue of PLOS Computational Biology was published, making June 2015 the 10th Anniversary. To mark the occasion, this new collection exhibits the best aspects of PLOS Computational Biology. The collection contains a PLOS Computational Biology "Taster". In covering Software, Education, About My Lab, Topic Pages, Ten Simple Rules and a Focus Feature readers can sample each section of the wide ranging articles published in the journal. The collection also features a new Message from ISCB to celebrate the collaboration of the PLOS Computational Biology with the ISCB which has been critical to the success of the OA journal. In a new editorial from the Founding Editors, Philip E. Bourne, Steven E. Brenner and Michael B. Eisen take a retrospective look at the journal. Whilst Editor-in-Chief Ruth Nussinov eagerly looks forward to the changes to come.
