DREAMS: a partnership to reduce HIV acquisition among adolescent girls and young women and generate lessons for prevention

Partnered Collections, Special Issues

The DREAMS Partnership is a large investment by PEPFAR and private sector partners to promote empowerment and prevent HIV acquisition through a core package of interventions for young women, their families, communities and male partners. In this Collection, we introduce the DREAMS core package, describe the context of HIV risk for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in a range of settings prior to DREAMS introduction, profile the characteristics of male partners of AGYW, and present early lessons from DREAMS implementation.
